From Janet's Desk: "I am glad you are here!"
I developed this website to help those of you looking for answers to the food problem. My intention is to help you become your own nutritionist with an integrative approach and accomplish three things:

|
Breathe:
and bring mindfulness into your life;
Eat:
food you love and optimize your health;
Live:
each day to the fullest.
|
Look around at your life and ask yourself if you are living your life or someone else's. Compelling, isn't it? Whether the problem is overeating, eating disorders, pre-diabetes, food addiction....these three principles will aid your recovery.
So -- take a look around and see if anything you read here resonates for you. Thanks for visiting! If you have any questions that are not answered on the website feel free to
email me and I will respond within two business days.
I am a licensed nutritionist and nutrition therapist working with clients who are tired of the diet merry-go-round, frustrated by weight loss victories and betrayals, and confused by the media messages and food supply/marketing in this country. They typically want a seasoned nutrition therapist to tell it like it is, translate the conflicting messages, provide a partnered accountability for their progress and goals, and become independent in their food decisions and weight attitudes once and for all. Twenty years of experience as a nutrition therapist, journalist and media expert in nutrition have culminated in this provision for many successful clients.
Remember -- it is hard work and requires your commitment to yourself and your process. Do you
want to meet and determine if this even makes sense for you?
